The Riddle of Steel

One thing that the gun grabbing commies fail to understand about gun control, besides the obvious that criminals and crazy people don’t obey laws, is that doing away with guns will not stop violent crime. In China, where private guns are completely banned, you still have mass murders, only it is from knives. The UK noticed this trend in their own country, where in the absence of guns, knife attacks sky rocketed. So of course these flaming progressives decided to ban knives. Brilliant! And as the apparent rise of mass murder by vehicle comes upon us, you are actually starting to see the call to ban private vehicles in cities.
Yes. They are that stupid.
It doesn’t matter how much stuff you ban or how many laws you pass, when a person decides to kill someone, or lots of people, they will figure out a way. This is the Riddle of Steel, the philosophical back drop for the movie Conan The Barbarian.

A weapon is powerless without the will behind it, and in fact it is that will that is the true weapon. If you ban guns, people will use knives. If you ban knives, people will use trucks, or rocks, or home made explosives, or home made knives, or 2x4s with nails through them, or etc, etc, etc. You might as well ban violence for all the good it will do. Everything is a weapon when the will to violence is behind it.

Ignore the fact that Nick Offerman, the actor playing Ron Swanson, a truly great TV character, is a gun grabbing pussy in real life. His point is valid. The Riddle of Steel is that everything is a weapon.

Donner Schwanze is a Traditional Christian with Traditional values. He has had a tough life and has worked hard for everything he has. As a Father and a Husband, Donner will do whatever it takes to defend his God, his nation, and his family.

  1. 2 years now I been sitting in the truck with my rifle outside the church my wife attends. She thought I was a bit crazy. I said your my wife, these are our friends & neighbors, this is our little community, and someday somebody will pick churches like these in the middle of nowhere rural America because we are white, live below the Mason Dixon line, are Christian, and the terror value of picking out our church is only exceeded by a man of the west like me killing some sonofabitch first who tries to kill us.
To me this is the kind of stuff you do as a matter of duty as a man of the west, it now today is what I like to call the honorable resistance. Its self determination, its protecting liberty, your community, culture, faith, tribe, and loved ones. And taking out the enemy of these things with extreme prejudice.
If we all do this with a thought and eye to defending & protecting these most important things that matter most, well we do more than save lives, we defend in such a way nobody will mess with us, knowing we do not balk in our duty. Instead of being sitting ducks far too many of us are because we are not fully cognizant of the time proven hard won precepts of western Christian principles & virtues.
Besides, isn’t this what us men of the west have obtained these extremely fine combat rifles and gear, the training also, for? Isn’t this embodied in the two courages men who regardless of their fears rushed to the sound of mortal danger, used their rifles to stop a madman in a Texas church? Isn’t it as Men of The West we stand for these things? Isn’t this what the shit hitting the fan is about? The gradual & tragic erosion of civil society. And isn’t it an armed society is a civil society? Isn’t it the way of Men of The West to rise above all false constructs and illegitimate forms of restriction to our duty & honor, to do what needs doing?

    I aim with my eye.
I do not shoot with my hand; he who shoots with his hand has forgotten the face of his father.
    I shoot with my mind.
I do not kill with my gun; he who kills with his gun has forgotten the face of his father.
    I kill with my heart.

  3. You know? This situation happened already in the Far East. Back in the day the Kingdom of Ryuku, an island we today know as Okinawa, was invaded by the Shimazu clan from Japan. The natives were forbidden from possession of weapons.
What we today know as karate is nothing else as their attempt to adapt to their situation. Karate was created so that poor peasants could defend themselves against the samurai oppressing them. Thus the peasants forged their own bodies into weapons. Because low ranked enforcers of the samurai wore bamboo armor, the Okinawans begun hardening their fists to punch through bamboo. Various weapons we see in karate today (such as famed tonfa or nunchaku) begun originally as farming tools and were re-purposed for self defense. The flying techniques we see so often in Bruce Lee movies were designed to knock down mounted opponents rather than to look flashy.
When knives will be banned (assuming that such a ridiculous ban can actually be enforced properly), people will find a way. Your house is full of weapons you can use, and assuming you don’t have it – you still have your body (what the Thai fighters call the science of 8 weapons – 2 fists, 2 legs, 2 knees and 2 elbows). Russian Spetsnaz learns to fight with a shovel – will they ban shovels too?
Or will we arrive at the ridiculous point where the left will ban possession of hands, because you don’t need weapons to kill with them? And what is even most ironic… those situations are usually ended by a gun… of the policeman.

  4. The thing is it’s never been about gun control it’s always been about controlling people…The people in control want to remain in control no matter how bad society deteriorates…If people that are in opposition to them don’t have the means to resist them then they will remain in control…That is why they have been slowly chipping away at our God given rights and we have been letting them…Sad That…
