In Part 1 of this series I introduced the Great Reset, a long-planned reordering of our economy and our society. In Part 2 I discussed Critical Theory, a way of looking at the world that casts certain people as oppressors and others as oppressed, which demands we tear down every facet of society to correct perceived injustices. Today I look at one of the many tools that the Marxist left is using to accomplish their goals: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, or DEI.

Note: You will usually see the initials DEI, but I believe it makes more sense to order them diversity/inclusion/equity instead. Read on to find out why!

You would be hard pressed to find any part of our culture today that does not involve diversity, equity, or inclusion. In fact, if aliens monitored our discourse they might reasonably assume that Diversity is the name of our chief god. Consider:

  • The NFL has a rule that forces teams to interview at least one non-white candidate for every coaching vacancy.
  • Hollywood movies that do not meet a certain threshold for racial and sexual diversity are banned from consideration for the Academy Awards.
  • When Islamic terrorist and Army psychiatrist Nidal Hasan murdered thirteen people at Fort Hood in 2009, President Obama’s chief of the Army said, “…as horrific as this tragedy was, if our diversity becomes a casualty, I think that’s worse.”

Standing Against the Cult

I’m not a Catholic, but I admire their unity and still relevant cultural power. Despite some of the things I don't understand or agree with, they've been right on so many things.
