Healing Hattiesburg

We rolled into Petal, Mississippi, a small suburb of Hattiesburg, at 8am.  We had 30 volunteers in a caravan of trucks and SUVs.  We brought about 15 chainsaws and three tractors. If you’ve never been a part of disaster relief efforts in the US, the first time is an eye-opening experience.  What always strikes me is how professional everything is.  I don’t mean professional in the standard doing-stuff-for-money sense.  I mean in the American Professionalism sense.  Everything is so well organized and efficient.  Even though there are dozens of giant organizations on site, it all works like a well-oiled...

Western Canon: Tarzan of the Apes

I know. Most wouldn’t include this book in with other classics. Ignore the science, it’s as close to reality as Barsoom is to Mars. That aside, this is one roller-coaster of a ride. Tarzan has been retold countless times in countless ways and none of them touch the raw power and jungle savagery of the original book. Do I Stay or Do I Go Now?

Question: is your church feminized? Test: Can your pastor preach on Ephesians 5:22 without first having to apologize or give some other sort of “trigger warning” “Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord” The superficial answer is yes, your church is feminized if your pastor has to roll over and ask for his belly rub approval from the women in attendance before preaching this vital scripture. In reality many churches today will not preach this scripture. You will hear many mentions of Ephesians 5:25 “Husbands , love your wives as Christ loved the...

St. John Chrysostom – Sermon on John 3:12-16

John 3:12-13 If I have told you earthly things, and you believe not, how shall you believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? And no man has ascended up to heaven, but He that came down from heaven, even the Son of Man which is in heaven. What I have often said I shall now repeat, and shall not cease to say. What is that? It is that Jesus, when about to touch on sublime doctrines, often contains Himself by reason of the infirmity of His hearers, and dwells not for a continuance on subjects worthy of His...

Men of the West Archives

Purpose and Mission

Men of The West seeks to clarify the issues of the day and build a community of like minded men who worship Jesus Christ. To unify them across Christendom to steel them against the barbarians who are either at the gates, or already inside them. We will celebrate, defend, and expand Western Civilization and the values and traditions that created it.

There is no substitute for victory.

We are the Hard Right.
