The debate over gun control is once again raging in our country. Many people want to restrict civilian ownership of guns, or even ban them entirely. Contrary to popular conception, however, the gun itself is not an evil thing. It is a tool to be used by men for good or for ill. In today’s episode I look back at the role of the gun in Western Civilization.
