Burn Down The "Modern" World

2 mins read

For into a freak show a child is born:

Proud dad Reuben Sharpe today tells how HE gave birth to a miracle baby in Britain’s most modern family.
The 39-year-old transitioned to a man 12 years ago.
But he still had maternal instincts and six years ago stopped taking testosterone in the hope of one day having a child.
And that dream came true when he and partner Jay had a bouncing baby.
Jay is non-binary – so does not identify as male or female.
The sperm donor was a trans woman… and even the DOCTOR was transgender.

So a woman who pretends to be a man gave birth to a child. It was fathered not by her partner, who pretends to be neither woman nor man, but by an unrelated man who pretends to be a woman. The child was delivered by a doctor who also knows nothing about biology.

Modern pregnancy

The entire article – not to mention event – is an affront against both science and truth. But there’s a word tucked in there that ought to give every normal person pause. Modern.
What would normally be an unremarkable case of in vitro fertilization is instead hailed as a hallmark of modernity.
But what does it mean to be modern?
In one sense modern simply means ‘contemporary’, or ‘pertaining to recent time’. The internet is modern. But then again, there are far many more normal people today than abnormal, so they cannot mean modern in that sense.
The sense in which the (left-wing, obviously) UK Mirror uses the word is this:

of, relating to, or characteristic of contemporary styles of art, literature, music, etc., that reject traditionally accepted or sanctioned forms and emphasize individual experimentation and sensibility.

Modernity rejects traditionally accepted forms, like the fact that humanity is a sexed species and that these sexes are immutable. It emphasizes individual experimentation, especially when that experimentation denies the facts about how Humanity is created, and the very words of Christ.
This family is modern, not because it exists today but because it rejects yesterday. It rejects accepted forms. And truth. And science.
It is modern precisely because it is a freakshow.
And therein lies its danger.  For modernity is a very powerful argument today. Who wants to be stodgy and old and static and (gasp) binary? Who wants to submit his individual sensibilities to something as boring as truth? This is not your father’s Oldsmobile, but your very own carbon-neutral flying Tesla.
While modernity is a powerful argument, it’s a purely emotional one – no Roman would have ever been moved by it. And it’s a temporary one, forged in the French Revolution and buttressed by rising standards of living in the modern economic age.
But we have entered a post-modern economic age. It’s one in which we have jettisoned ideas like savings and long time preferences with the same alacrity we jettison spouses. We have tossed the historical habits that brought the West affluence in our frantic search for the modern. And so affluence will flee from us just as quickly.
I’m not terribly worried about the long-term effects of sexual freakshows. They will not even survive the next real depression, much less the Boogaloo.
But I am very concerned about the damage this literal devilry can do to our families in the short term.
Dads, watch your kids. Teach your kids. Love your kids, raise your kids, protect your kids. For if there’s one thing that this poor ‘miracle’ baby needs and certainly will not get, it’s a father. Your kids should be treated better, lest they too be featured in The UK Mirror.
And when any such modern ideology arises in opposition to the word and design of our Creator, do everything in your power to burn it down.

  1. Boogaloo out now!
When the fires if not the corona virus starts, you will want to be in a Galt’s gulch among producers instead of among the moochers and looters.

  2. Sometimes I am surprised that God doesn’t just send a big comet our way. He only promised to not destroy the world again with a flood.
