How We Got Here

Charlie Kirk was martyred, for speaking the truth and spreading the Gospel. One wonders how someone who adamantly preached nonviolence was violently murdered. Turns out that’s not unusual, but it is cause to reflect, and determine what led up to and caused a young man with his whole life ahead of him to throw it away in such a senseless and brutal act. It’s still early, but it appears the young man was romantically involved with another young man who, like Beto, was a furry. The romantic partner roommate was also dude pretending to be a woman, which is a factor that fits the pattern far too often lately.

So how did we get here? He’s my theory: For the last several decades we failed our kids. We coddled them. We couldn’t bear that the poor dears might experience losing to so we stopped keeping score and came up with participation trophies. We leaned in to every mental challenge they had and used it as a crutch and an excuse as to why they needed special treatment. We invented trigger words and safe spaces and raised generations that, when faced with adversity “can’t even”.

Then we sent them to college. At college, no diversity of ideology was allowed. You must conform to the Left. Concepts like white privilege, institutional racism, intersectionality, were fed to them and anyone that questioned it was demonized. We bent gender until it broke, and normalized all sorts of perversions. Most importantly, we destroyed the truth. You can have your own truth. There is no ultimate truth, except everything must fit a Narrative. If it’s true, and it fits, it’s trumpeted from the rooftops. If it’s true, and it doesn’t fit, it is ignored. Truth is a weapon to wield, but since the truth wasn’t on their side, they learned to lie. The Narrative must be preserved. Those who don’t go along must be shouted down and shunned. If it didn’t fit the Narrative, it was a lie, it was hate speech. If you didn’t go along with the Narrative, you were hated because you were full of hate.

It is self evident that a man cannot become a woman. At best, he can only pretend. We pretended, but that wasn’t good enough. We had to participate. We had to believe. It’s not enough to pretend a dude was a woman. We were supposed to date him as a woman. Some young men did. On the Right, we looked on with amusement. Dude, just admit you’re gay. But what if he really did believe the bullshit? What if he really thought he was dating a woman?

These people went on to become adults. They had kids of their own that they transed. They corrupted corporations and worsened the rot in education. They were not raised to be tolerant. All must have total purity. They corrupted the law, and wrote hate speech and hate crime laws. They controlled social media and the news media and they were clamping down. You speak against the Narrative, you get deplatformed, even if you spoke the truth.

But they went too far, too fast. Enough people realized that men can’t become women. Maybe they didn’t want to pretend, or maybe they were okay pretending but didn’t want to date one. Maybe they lost a loved one to the perversion. J.K. Rowling didn’t want them in her bathroom. As a liberal in good standing she was shocked at the fury of the Left. She had the resources to weather the storm, so she stood firm. Elon Musk bought Twitter and took the boot off our necks. He is not a conservative, but he was instantly vilified. People began vandalizing Teslas, as if right-wingers were the ones who had bought them. This was the warning that the Left had lost it. They were eating their own.

They tried to kill Trump twice. We knew that things were out of control. We re-elected Trump and they spiraled. It is the recipe for disaster: Half the country is unable to have a discussion. They will not receive the truth. They flee to to their echo chambers on Bluesky and Reddit. We didn’t chase them away from Twitter; they fled. We want them to come back, so we can ridicule them. Ridicule is a great tool against the Narrative. They can’t defend illogical positions with discussion. In the echo chambers, the Narrative can survive and metastasize.

They were indoctrinated with nonsense, not educated. But they think we’re the idiots. They were taught that anyone that disagrees is full of hate. But we didn’t hate them, we laughed at them. They called us Nazis, and we thought it was hyperbole.

Eventually, the light breaks through. We wouldn’t give in on the transgender issue. We Bud Lighted them and the pendulum started swinging back. Guys like Charlie Kirk were going to campuses and challenging the Narrative built on nonsense and he was effective. I believe he would have changed the world, because young men loved him and were starting to convert.

There are still true believers on the Left. They cannot be reasoned out of a narrative that they were not reasoned into. Their entire worldview is a vapor and they were not brought up with the intellectual resilience to recalibrate. They retreat to their echo chambers on Bluesky and their Discord chats. There will always be the angry old women like Keith Olberman, marinating in their spite. They refuse to accept anything counter to the Narrative.

They know that the Right is evil. They believe the truth is a lie. They think someone disagreeing with them wants them dead because their entire identity is tied into the Narrative. You can’t separate them from the Narrative without destroying them. They don’t know how to debate. Debate was never allowed. The only avenue left is violence. This is especially true of the transgendered, as it was always obvious that the lives they were building were not based on truth.

So they killed the man that was bringing the truth. That’s how I think we got here. There’s more to discuss. Who created the Narrative? Can we fix this mess? Will they keep trying to kill us? Probably. Keep your eyes peeled.
