  1. Hmmm, just a wonderin’ out loud – is that the Cantique de Noël you really meant? The First Noël is an English carol (also being spelt Nowell) and its performance in French is different. The Cantique de Noël that comes first to my mind is the carol composed by Adolphe Adam for a poem by Placide Cappeau, commonly called ‘O Holy Night’ in English. (The original French title, in English, is ‘Midnight, Christians’.) Anyway, both are great.
