I did a little shopping on Prime Day to get some of the gear I need to flesh out my studio because the exact things I’ve needed were on steep discount. I still need to get a functionally decent laptop to do video, but the audio stuff I needed was dirt cheap on sale! Mirabile Dictu!

McLeod Studios will be a thing and we will be producing some great content not only from myself but from other excellent creatives.

I did buy an inexpensive 4K / 20 megapixel camera, and the rest of the audio equipment I needed. Still need about $750 to get the new computer necessary to replace the dying laptop I currently work on. Back my GoFundMe (which I’m treating like a one-off patreon rather than a cyberbeg even though, yeah, I have a lot of bills to pay thanks to CV-19 and my overall health problems) or pick up a t-shirt or books if you’d like that sooner than later. I’m told I’m more entertaining and interesting than I think I am.

My current plan is to focus on all that promised audio because of the lack of computational firepower for video, but audio should be golden as soon as the studio space is fully operational. I’ll be doing poetry readings and maybe some audiobook samples from my other stories as well as from public domain works. I’ve also, in the last few minutes, worked out a deal where McLeod Studios will be working with making select articles more accessible to the blind with the Men Of The West by providing my vocal talents.

But this is your request line. Let me know what you want to hear. And back my efforts so I can provide maximum value.
