Lately, I’ve had my woman in the gym, and we’ve been working out together. This can be a bit challenging sometimes because I work out with hundreds of pounds, while she works out with…dozens. But, this is great bonding time. She is letting me guide her and instruct her, and I get to see her bending over in spandex. Everyone benefits. So if you’re not showing your kitten the kitten life, I suggest you do.

Generally, my woman does lighter versions of what I do, but I really push her on legs. Because I like big butts. Box Squats, Deadlifts, kettlebell swings. Gluteus Maximus.

For starters, your lady might be more comfortable doing squats in the Smith Machine. Remember, she’s new to this, and she hasn’t built those mind-muscle connections. Give her a few weeks to get used to the movement before you move her over to the regular squat rack. And while you may want to also work in regular squats, box Squats should be your go to with her because they target the glutes. Make sure you stand behind her the whole time to be a good spotter and guide. Don’t be afraid to put your hands on her hips so she knows you’re there to protect her. Keep her rep range between 8-12.

On the deadlifts, you may want to let her start off from a raised position until she gets used to the exercise. But as she goes down, keep a good eye on her form. Stand behind her and watch for rounding back. Instruct her to keep her chest pushed out toward the ceiling. And make sure she gets a good clean hip thrust at the top of each pull. Again, keep her at 8-12.

Kettlebell swings are a good cool down after these two beasts.  And although they can benefit the whole body, guess where the most noticeable benefit is? Yes! The butt.  These are naturally high rep exercises, so shoot for 15-25, 3-5 sets. Have her get a stance, like she’s doing deadlifts. Have her squat down and grab the bell with both hands. Then stand up. Have her half-squat down, letting the bell dip between her legs. She needs to pop up with a full straight-armed swing of the bell, raising it up to eye level. Straight armed again, let the bell swing back between her legs as she goes back into the half-squat. It’s important that she pop her hips at the top, squeezing her glutes.

Make sure when you lift with your lady that you give her plenty of encouragement and support. She’s doing this for you. Time with you and being strong and sexy for you. The lean muscle will increase her metabolism, the growth hormone will make her skin and hair shine, and you’re welcome for the bump in her libido.
