You may recognize the name. The Carter Family was one of the early pioneers of radio, and have had a huge impact on the development of Country music (real country, not that junk on the radio today). Most modern folks may remember June Carter Cash, who was one of the members of the Carter Family and eventually married Johnny Cash.
