A Solution to the Transgender Crime Conundrum

New York City chooses pretension over fact:

New York Mayor Bill De Blasio has announced that prisoners in the city will be housed according to the gender with which they identify instead of biological sex.
“In New York City, we believe transgender rights are human rights. And we’ll fight to protect those rights in city jails as well,” he tweeted Monday.
“It’s the city’s responsibility to protect the rights and safety of all New Yorkers, and that means protecting transgender individuals in city jails as well,” the mayor said in a statement, according to AM NY…

Just an innocent girl.
Just an innocent girl.

While the mayor is loudly concerned about the sexually disoriented being victimized by those who are stronger than they, his solution, placing these criminal men among those who are weaker, has obvious problems of its own.
Perhaps it’s a bit of a surprise that the article quotes at least one person who does not appreciate the new policy, a feminist lawyer who notes the obvious danger of housing male criminals in with the female population. At some point, someone’s going to get raped.
That she was able and willing to accurately describe transgender women as “biological males” gives me some hope that at least some women are tiring of the charade now that progressive pretending is beginning to put them in physical danger. As the sexually disoriented are higher on the progressive stack* than normal women, this result is not a given.
But there is another, simpler solution to the problem that the mayor may be overlooking. He is obviously willing to accept that men who identify** as women ought to be placed with the women and treated as women. He even commands others to use unfitting pronouns to refer to these men, and fines them if they refuse. In other words, the Mayor is willing to take the word of the criminal over the established fact of his sex and to force others to abide by that identification.
Why should he not then accept an identification of innocence? If you ask the transgender prisoner if he committed the crime of which is accused or has been convicted, most of the time he’ll deny it. In other words, he identifies as innocent.
If we would never purposely imprison someone who is innocent, and if we are willing to accept a prisoner’s identification over established fact, why are these poor, innocent women in jail at all?
* The Progressive Stack, also known as The Oppression Olympics, defines which combination of race, sex, nationality, citizenship status, disability, and sexual confusion is the most oppressed, and must therefore be deferred to by anyone with fewer excuses for personal failure.
**A progressive euphemism that boils down to “isn’t, but pretends to be,” usually on tumblr or to get on TV.

  1. There is no logic put into such a policy. When consequences occur, there will be no logic used there.
Apparently, identifying as innocent is so far down the Progressive Stack as to not be paid attention to. The prisoners can’t vote, but that doesn’t explain why gender confusion virtue signalling is a thing and justice for those identifying as innocent is not. Perhaps if you are black and identify as innocent it carries more weight? Nope, they tried that already.
Liberals are victims of their own success. Feminism has largely triumphed, and so has gay rights. Now females are threatened by gender confused. That’s what you get when you build a political platform out of a bunch of causes that have nothing to do with each other, other than a perversion of the good. It would be funny if it wasn’t the destruction of our culture.
