What Trump Needs to Do to Win in 2020

Allow us, if we may, to posit a word of caution to Team Trump. Oh, don’t get us wrong – it is a fine sunny day here in NationalistLand, but if you look close there is a storm cloud just over on the horizon, over near 2020. You may think Trump already has this all locked up. But we disagree. In fact, we believe there is one big issue that Trump will either adopt for his own and ride to victory… or he will be run over by it like so much road kill.
That issue is Student Loan Debt.
Back in 1995, for you old timers who remember, Bill Clinton was politically dead. He was a zombie. The Assault Weapons Ban was a disaster, and the reaction to it would gut the democratic majority of Congress and hand huge majorities to the GOP. But Clinton himself survived. He survived by adopting the most popular positions his opponents were running on.  The liberal Democrat ran on, of all things, Welfare Reform? What?
That is exactly what Trump needs to do with the Student Loan Debt issue. Right now, today, Trump should challenge the House of Representatives to draw up a bill that would forgive student loan debt. In that one move, Trump would destroy any hope the Left has in 2020. It would rip the DNC Coalition apart, tearing the Millennials away in droves. It would drive a wedge between the educated whites who love them some Democrats and the DNC, because Trump would be waving giant wads of cash in their faces.
This is a critical issue for 2020. Don’t think so? As a nobody, Bernie Sanders took this issue up. Hillary beat him, but today? Today Hillary is selling herself for cash, and Bernie is busy writing the party’s platform. Hillary won the battle. Bernie won the war. Crazy socialist Democrats are getting elected on this issue.
Now, no doubt you’re ready to call us left wing commies. That’s fine. But over the next several weeks, we are going to prove that not only is this the best thing for Trump to do as a candidate, we’re going to show that it is in fact the correct Nationalist position, and well as the correct economic position.
Buckle up, boys. The next few weeks are gonna be a little wild around here.

  1. There should be a 1 year or 18 month “bankruptcy for all” including student loan or credit card or any other debt. The economy will soar when the debt slaves are freed.
I would ding their credit like with any other bankruptcy (for 7 years), but Creditors might remove fees or negotiate things down or refinance if they are threatened.
That was one of the two top suggestions. The other would be a federal covenant marriage (if we can have Gay Marriage, why not a permanent contract). Basically any couple could apply for it then no fault Divorce would not be possible – it would be considered abandonment, which along with abuse (felony assault and battery with conviction, not being yelled at), and adultery would be the only things that could break up a marriage, I might add mutual consent since that would also short circuit man-fault divorce and the “family courts”. The breakup would be how they would want to divide things first, but either party could keep the marriage. It would also NOT require a state license, merely the signatures of the couple
Churches like Catholics, Mormons, some Evangelicals could require it as a condition of being married in church.
I often noted our country had it backwards as it was nearly impossible to get out of student loan debt but trivially easy to break a contract with a vow before man and God.
Both together would fix the imbalance.

  2. I would consider warming to this approach if there is a mechanism to put these debts on the books of the various universities, in no small part to exact retribution for the endemic academic malfeasance. Tell me more …

  3. Certainly seems like an interesting proposal. No doubt that you would sweep up a heck of a lot of votes with the plan.
Initially was worried about the effects on the economy, but we’re playing with funny money anyway right? So the cooked books get messed up…we have been on that path for a while. Bring on the Reset, baby.
Paging, P.G. Mantel, as the resident historian! The Greeks did something like this didn’t they? One of them lawmakers…what happened after they tried this…bah, back to the references.

  4. Although student loan debt is listed as the largest asset, or thereabouts, on the USGovt balance sheet, to the govt, it’s funny money.
To the sap that owes $40k, often for a degree they didn’t finish or don’t really use, it’s real money, cash that could go toward a house etc, but they have to live with mom & dad or in a cheap apt. because 1/3 of their paycheck goes to the loan, for the next 20 years.
Released from that, the economy would roar, and Donald would become the most popular baby name in America, even for girls.

  5. I imagine debt forgiveness could turbocharge household formation. Many of the college dropouts are undoubtedly women who now have large student loan debt. Few men would want to bring that burden into their house, so to speak. A move like this could free up many women and make it attractive to settle down with them, without the crushing burden of having to pay for loans for a useless “education”.
Normally, I am against someone not repaying their debts, but in this case, it strikes at the leftist universities and the most useless degrees they offer. And it gives a solid boost to President Trump’s re-election efforts.
    Three good reasons:
    Boost family formation.
    Shiv the university-SJW complex
    Re-elect President Trump
I look forward to hearing more.

    • We will have another post about the morality of the system tomorrow.
The fact is that the vast majority of these students have no business being in college at all. They are not suited for it in any way. Some simply are not smart enough. Others do not have actual interest in what the degree is designed to do. They would be better getting a job in a field suited to their abilities and interests. There, it is nothing about intelligence, but simply about what one wants to do. I know lots of smart welders and plumbers. No need to go to college for that.
I know a guy who was going to school, started working in landscaping, bought out the owner of the business, and dropped out of school. He makes more money than me, is just as smart as I am, though I have multiple degrees and he has none.
